A delightful side dish that combines sweet corn with a creamy texture, perfect for Thanksgiving or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) of sweet corn, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) of creamed corn
- 1 package (8.5 oz) of corn muffin mix
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the sweet corn, creamed corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream, and melted butter.
- If desired, add in the shredded cheddar cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm as a side dish for Thanksgiving or family gatherings. Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
