Description

Homemade taco seasoning brings flavor to your dishes while avoiding additives found in store-bought packets.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix all the spices together until well combined.

2. Store the seasoning in an airtight container.

3. Use 2-3 tablespoons of this blend for each pound of meat or to taste in your tacos, burritos, or bowls.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper.

Store your taco seasoning in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to six months.

Consider pairing your tacos with a fresh corn salad or cucumber salad.
