Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded green cabbage
- 1 cup shredded red cabbage
- 1 cup cooked rice noodles
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey or sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, shredded carrots, cooked rice noodles, green onions, and chopped cilantro, tossing to mix.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha, and honey or sugar until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss well to coat everything evenly.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve immediately. For better flavor, let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a refreshing twist, chill the slaw for 30 minutes before serving. Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
