A hearty, flavorful Slow Cooker Chili that’s easy to prepare and perfect for chilly days or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain.
- In a slow cooker, combine the browned ground beef, beans, tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything together.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or cayenne pepper. Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
