  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the browned ground beef, beans, tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir everything together.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or cayenne pepper. Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
