Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mash the ripe bananas in a separate bowl and fold them into the wet mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
