Description
Crispy and flavorful Paneer Nuggets, perfect as a snack or appetizer, easy to prepare and delightful to taste.
Ingredients
- 200 gms Paneer
- ¾ tbsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- Oil (for deep frying)
- ½ piece Lemon
- 2 bowls Corn flakes
- ¾ tbsp Mixed herbs
- ½ tbsp Chili flakes
- 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- Pinch of Black pepper powder
- Water (for binding paste)
Instructions
- Cut the paneer block into 1-inch pieces and set aside.
- In a plate, mix ½ tbsp turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and ginger garlic paste with 1 tbsp oil and lemon extract.
- Coat the paneer cubes in the spice mix and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Separate corn flakes into two sections – one for grinding and one for crushing.
- Mix the ground powder with the crushed corn flakes.
- In a bowl, combine ¼ tbsp salt, mixed herbs, chili flakes, all-purpose flour, corn flour, turmeric powder, salt and black pepper to make a binding paste with water.
- Drench marinated paneer in the paste and then coat with corn flakes.
- Heat oil in a pan until hot, then deep fry paneer cubes until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and place on tissue paper to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with ketchup.
Notes
For a spicier version, add green chilies or use spicy mixed herbs. Don’t overcrowd the pan while frying.
