Description

French Dip Sliders are a delightful twist on the classic sandwich, featuring tender roast beef, caramelized onions, and gooey cheese, served with rich au jus for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Roast beef
  • 12 Slider buns
  • 1 cup Caramelized onions
  • 1 cup Cheese (optional)
  • 1 cup Au jus (for dipping)
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Caramelize the onions in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Layer slices of roast beef and caramelized onions on the bottom halves of the buns.
  5. Add cheese on top of the meat, if desired.
  6. Combine melted butter with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then brush the mixture over the top halves of the buns.
  7. Place the tops on the sliders and bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the buns are golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Use quality roast beef for the best flavor. Sliders can be made in advance and stored for later baking.
