- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp neutral oil for pan frying
- 8 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 2 stalks green onion (green and white parts separated)
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1/2 cup chicken stock (or substitute with water and chicken bouillon)
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar

- Dry chicken thighs with a paper towel and coat in a mixture of potato starch, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add chicken and fry for approximately 7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic, the white parts of the green onions, and red chili flakes for about 3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the prepared sauce to the pan and cook, stirring, for about a minute until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the pan, coat with the sauce, and let it cook together for about five minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken thighs in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the spice level according to preference.
