Description
A quick and healthy salmon dish made in the air fryer with a caramelized finish.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (5–8 oz. each)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- Pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Combine the brown sugar, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make the rub. Pat this mixture generously on both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry the salmon for 7-9 minutes, or until cooked through and caramelized.
- Dish out the salmon and serve hot.
Notes
Make sure to pat the salmon dry before adding the rub for better seasoning adhesion. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the fillets.
