Description
Rich and creamy White Chocolate Brownies that are a delightful twist on the classic chocolate brownie.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate bars
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate together in 30-second increments, mixing in between each increment.
- Whisk in the granulated sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 23-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top or pair with vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat.
