Description

Rich and chewy blondies loaded with creamy white chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 whole eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9 inch or 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla and almond extract, and mix until combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in two increments, stirring until a thick batter forms. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and top with extra white chocolate chips if desired.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is light golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before transferring to a wire rack, then cut into 16 squares and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra special touch, serve with vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to four days.
