Description

Delightful and chewy white chocolate bars that are easy to make, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 225g (1 cup) melted butter (cooled)
  • 340g (1¾ cups) brown sugar or demerara sugar (light is better)
  • 2 eggs
  • 285g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 100g (½ cup) white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well blended.
  3. Slowly pour in the cooled melted butter while stirring the egg mixture.
  4. Stir in the flour until fully mixed; the batter will be thick.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips evenly.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the surface, and optionally sprinkle some sea salt on top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is golden.
  8. Let cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing into 9 pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days, or refrigerate for up to two weeks. For freezing, wrap tightly and place in an airtight container for up to three months.
