Delightful and chewy white chocolate bars that are easy to make, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 225g (1 cup) melted butter (cooled)
- 340g (1¾ cups) brown sugar or demerara sugar (light is better)
- 2 eggs
- 285g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 100g (½ cup) white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well blended.
- Slowly pour in the cooled melted butter while stirring the egg mixture.
- Stir in the flour until fully mixed; the batter will be thick.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips evenly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the surface, and optionally sprinkle some sea salt on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is golden.
- Let cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing into 9 pieces.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days, or refrigerate for up to two weeks. For freezing, wrap tightly and place in an airtight container for up to three months.
