Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef ribs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz vermicelli noodles
  • Fresh herbs (such as mint, cilantro)
  • 4 cups lettuce
  • 2 carrots (julienned)
  • 1 cucumber (sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Pour the marinade over the beef ribs and let them marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the beef ribs for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and slightly charred.
  5. Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. To assemble, place a portion of vermicelli noodles in a bowl. Top with grilled beef ribs, fresh herbs, lettuce, carrots, and cucumber.
  7. Serve with additional sauce or lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the beef ribs overnight. Use fresh herbs and vegetables for a vibrant dish.
