A delightful recipe for Vietnamese beef ribs marinated in a savory blend of flavors, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef ribs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz vermicelli noodles
- Fresh herbs (such as mint, cilantro)
- 4 cups lettuce
- 2 carrots (julienned)
- 1 cucumber (sliced)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the beef ribs and let them marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the beef ribs for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- To assemble, place a portion of vermicelli noodles in a bowl. Top with grilled beef ribs, fresh herbs, lettuce, carrots, and cucumber.
- Serve with additional sauce or lime wedges on the side.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the beef ribs overnight. Use fresh herbs and vegetables for a vibrant dish.
