Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in 1 cup sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just blended. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Mix in the sour cream and flour until smooth.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the cheesecake is set and a slight jiggle remains in the center.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake sit in the oven for 1 hour.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature and do not overmix the batter.
