Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- A pinch of salt
- Freshly ground black pepper

- Optional: caramelized onions for garnish
- Optional: shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
Instructions

- In the same pan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken stock and honey, scraping the browned bits from the pan to enhance the sauce.
- Return the chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over it, and cook uncovered for 5-7 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Sprinkle cheese on top if using, cover briefly to melt.
- Garnish with parsley and optional caramelized onions before serving.
Notes
Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. For flavor variations, try adding BBQ sauce or soy sauce.
