Description

Taco Cups are a fun and delicious way to enjoy the flavors of tacos in a bite-sized form. Perfect for parties or quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Salsa (optional)
  • Green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Take wonton wrappers and place them in a greased muffin tin, pressing them down to form cups.
  5. Fill each wonton cup with the cooked ground beef mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the wontons are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with sour cream, salsa, and green onions if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, add diced vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the beef mixture. Use a variety of cheeses for a unique twist.
