Description

A delightful treat combining smooth cheesecake on a sweet sugar cookie crust, topped with cookie crumbles.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar cookie dough
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Press 1 cup of sugar cookie dough into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in sour cream and flour until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  7. Crumble remaining sugar cookie dough on top of the cheesecake.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, sliced into wedges, and consider adding whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or fresh fruit on top.
