Ingredients
- 1 box of strawberry cake mix
- 1/2 cup of strawberry purée
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1-2 cups of white chocolate melting wafers
- 1/2 cup of rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine strawberry cake mix, strawberry purée, vegetable oil, and eggs, mixing until smooth.
- Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Bake according to package instructions (25-30 minutes) or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Add cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes.
- While freezing, melt the white chocolate according to package instructions.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
- Place back on the parchment-lined sheet and allow to harden completely.
