Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  3. Season with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place in the air fryer skin side down and air fry for 15 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  6. After 15 minutes, carefully baste the chicken with the sauce 3 times.
  7. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
  9. Remove from air fryer and let rest before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier skin, be sure to dry the chicken thighs thoroughly. Basting multiple times enhances the sticky glaze significantly.
