Description

Delightful skewers of succulent chicken thighs marinated in a sweet and tangy bourbon glaze, perfect for gatherings or a casual family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup bourbon (or chicken broth for a non-alcohol substitute)
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for at least 30 minutes before use)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and bourbon.
  3. Add chicken to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill or oven broiler.
  5. Thread marinated chicken onto soaked skewers.
  6. Cook skewers on the grill or under the broiler for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken is fully cooked and caramelized.

Notes

Marinate chicken overnight for better flavor. Soak wooden skewers to prevent burning.
