Description

A delightful condiment that blends the spiciness of radishes with a tangy pickling solution, perfect for enhancing any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar or white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place thinly sliced radishes in a clean jar or bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and chili flakes. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour the hot pickling liquid over the radishes, making sure they are fully submerged.
  4. Let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For the best flavors, allow your radishes to pickle for at least a few hours, but overnight is even better!
