Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, paprika, lemon juice, honey (or brown sugar), salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F.
  4. Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Notes

Marinate the chicken longer for more flavor. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
