Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, paprika, lemon juice, honey (or brown sugar), salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F.
- Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
