Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup molasses

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in molasses, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set and centers look soft.
