Description

Tender and flavorful slow cooker ribs soaked in barbecue sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  2. Mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Generously rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs in the slow cooker, standing them upright if possible.
  5. Combine the barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar, stirring well.
  6. Pour the mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
  8. Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and brush with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
  9. Broil the ribs in the oven for a few minutes for a crispy exterior if desired.

Notes

Choose baby back or spare ribs for the best results. Let them rest before serving for juicy meat.
