A comforting, hearty meal made in a slow cooker, combining tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups egg noodles
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion, beef broth, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef, shred it with two forks, and return it to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For added depth of flavor, consider searing the beef before placing it in the slow cooker. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
