Ingredients

  • Day-old bread
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Raisins
  • Butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Tear the bread into pieces and place them in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and add raisins. Let it soak for about 30 minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the pudding is set and golden brown.
