Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups pretzel crumbs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with pretzel crumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the pretzel crumbs.
- Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mustard and cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish, top with the mustard-cheddar sauce, and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
