Description

Delicious cookies combining peanut butter, oats, and chocolate chips, perfect for a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For added texture, mix in nuts or dried fruit. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
