Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and slice.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Top with sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
