Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a second dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
  4. Put the flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic. Top chicken with this cheese mixture.
  9. Bake chicken in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

Notes

Serve hot with pasta, garlic bread, salad, or steamed vegetables. For a special touch, drizzle with marinara sauce before serving.
