Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- In a second dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Put the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic. Top chicken with this cheese mixture.
- Bake chicken in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
Notes
Serve hot with pasta, garlic bread, salad, or steamed vegetables. For a special touch, drizzle with marinara sauce before serving.
