A rich and creamy Oreo cheesecake that combines the classic flavors of cheesecake and Oreo cookies, perfect for any celebration.
Ingredients
- 63 Oreos
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Crush 36 Oreos and mix with melted butter to form the crust. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and mix well.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing until just incorporated. Stir in sour cream and the remaining crushed Oreos.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes. The center should still be a bit jiggly.
- Let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream until smooth for the ganache. Pour over chilled cheesecake.
- Top with whipped cream and remaining Oreo halves before serving.
Notes
Chill overnight for the best flavor and texture. For added indulgence, let the ganache cool slightly before pouring it over the cheesecake.
