A delicious and flavorful meatloaf that’s perfect for family dinners, topped with a tangy ketchup mix.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup dried minced onions
- 2/3 cup wheat crackers (crushed)
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, dried onions, crushed wheat crackers, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper. Add half of the ketchup mix and blend well.
- Press the meat mixture into a loaf pan.
- Spread the remaining ketchup mix on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf for 60 to 75 minutes.
Notes
Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes after baking and serve warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
