Description

A savory dish with crispy chicken and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for special occasions or elevating your weekly dinner routine.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the breaded chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter and minced garlic; sauté for 1 minute.
  8. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add heavy cream and stir until the sauce thickens.
  10. Return chicken to the skillet and heat for an additional minute.
  11. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispy chicken, use panko breadcrumbs. Adjust garlic and lemon levels to taste.
