Description

A delightful loaf of moist banana nut bread packed with rich banana flavor and crunchy walnuts, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas thoroughly. Add the eggs, sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for better flavor. Don’t overmix the batter to avoid a dense texture.
