Description

A fun twist on traditional jalapeno poppers, these egg rolls pack a spicy punch with a crispy exterior and creamy cheesy filling, perfect for parties or a delicious snack at home.


Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, chopped and seeded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Oil, for frying


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  2. Place a small amount of the filling onto the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold over, and seal tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
