Description

A delicious twist on a classic appetizer, combining deviled eggs with crispy bacon for a hit at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat for 12 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then chop into small pieces.
  3. Once the eggs are cooled, peel and cut them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.
  6. Scoop or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives and additional bacon if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Serve the eggs on a platter or arranged on a bed of greens for added color. Best enjoyed fresh but can be served cold.
