Description
A delicious twist on a classic appetizer, combining deviled eggs with crispy bacon for a hit at any gathering.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 4 slices bacon
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat for 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then chop into small pieces.
- Once the eggs are cooled, peel and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.
- Scoop or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Garnish with chopped chives and additional bacon if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Serve the eggs on a platter or arranged on a bed of greens for added color. Best enjoyed fresh but can be served cold.
