Description

A quick and delicious pasta dish perfect for late-night cravings, featuring garlic, red pepper flakes, and fresh basil.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
