Description

A delicious dish combining ground beef and macaroni with cheesy goodness—perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni noodles
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and 1 cup of the shredded cheese with the milk.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the meat mixture at the bottom.
  6. Add the macaroni and cheese mixture on top of it, then finish with the remaining meat mixture.
  7. Top with the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use a mix of cheeses for more flavor and add vegetables for extra nutrition.
