Description

A delightful blend of spices and tea for a cozy cup of homemade chai tea latte.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer or milk powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup loose black tea or 10 tea bags
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla powder (optional)


Instructions

  1. Measure out all dry ingredients and set them aside in separate bowls.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered non-dairy creamer, powdered sugar, and all spices.
  3. Add loose black tea or cut open tea bags and add the loose tea to the mix.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk to ensure even distribution of flavors.
  5. Transfer the mix to an airtight container for storage.
  6. To prepare a latte, add 2-3 tablespoons of the mix to a cup of hot water or hot milk and stir well.

Notes

Use fresh spices for the best flavor. Experiment with spice levels based on your preferences.
