Description
A delightful blend of spices and tea for a cozy cup of homemade chai tea latte.
Ingredients
- 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer or milk powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup loose black tea or 10 tea bags
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
- 1-2 teaspoons vanilla powder (optional)
Instructions
- Measure out all dry ingredients and set them aside in separate bowls.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered non-dairy creamer, powdered sugar, and all spices.
- Add loose black tea or cut open tea bags and add the loose tea to the mix.
- Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk to ensure even distribution of flavors.
- Transfer the mix to an airtight container for storage.
- To prepare a latte, add 2-3 tablespoons of the mix to a cup of hot water or hot milk and stir well.
Notes
Use fresh spices for the best flavor. Experiment with spice levels based on your preferences.
