A luxurious blend of creamy cheeses and succulent shrimp, served with crunchy garlic toast for a delightful appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped (reserve a few whole for topping)
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped chives (plus extra for garnish)
- Pinch of red chili flakes (optional for heat)
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 1 garlic clove, halved
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the chopped shrimp and chopped chives until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the mixture into a small baking dish. Top with reserved whole shrimp and extra cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil or melted butter. Toast until golden brown and rub with halved garlic clove.
- After removing the dip from the oven, sprinkle with extra chives and red pepper flakes. Serve warm with garlic toast for dipping.
Notes
For a varied flavor, try different types of cheese or add veggies. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
