Description

A luxurious blend of creamy cheeses and succulent shrimp, served with crunchy garlic toast for a delightful appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped (reserve a few whole for topping)
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives (plus extra for garnish)
  • Pinch of red chili flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 garlic clove, halved

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the chopped shrimp and chopped chives until evenly distributed.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a small baking dish. Top with reserved whole shrimp and extra cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  4. Brush baguette slices with olive oil or melted butter. Toast until golden brown and rub with halved garlic clove.
  5. After removing the dip from the oven, sprinkle with extra chives and red pepper flakes. Serve warm with garlic toast for dipping.
