Description

A delightful dish that’s both savory and sweet, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, with an irresistible aroma.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts with the honey garlic mixture and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the marinated chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  6. Pour the leftover marinade into the skillet and let it simmer until thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Cook until heated through.
  8. Plate the chicken and sprinkle with green onions. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate chicken for at least an hour or overnight. Avoid burning garlic by watching the heat closely.
