Description

A delicious and creamy dip that combines savory sausage, tangy cream cheese, and melty cheeses, perfect for gatherings or game day.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel, drained
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cooked sausage, Rotel, sharp cheddar, and mozzarella cheeses. Mix well to combine.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  5. Remove the dip from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley or green onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of cayenne pepper based on your heat preference. For extra flavor, try adding some chopped jalapeños or your favorite hot sauce.
