Description

Ingredients

  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice each russet potato thinly, about 1/8 inch apart, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  3. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet.
  4. Brush the melted butter over the potatoes, making sure to get it between the slices.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the edges are crispy.

Notes

Use a sharp knife for even slicing. You can place the potato between two chopsticks to act as a guide while cutting.
