Description

A delightful, hearty dish combining ground turkey and potatoes, perfect for family dinners or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Cook until turkey is browned and cooked through.
  5. Add diced potatoes to the skillet, along with paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  6. Pour in chicken broth, if using, and cover. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Stir occasionally, adding more broth if necessary.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use lean ground turkey for a healthier option. Ensure even potato sizes for uniform cooking.
