Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for sautéing
- Cooked rice or lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in the chopped bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the peppers are tender.
- Serve over rice, in lettuce wraps, or as taco filling.
Notes
