Description

A delicious twist combining a grilled cheese sandwich with the fun of a burrito.


Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your preference)
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Optional fillings (such as bacon, avocado, or tomatoes)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Lightly butter one side of each tortilla.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet, buttered side down.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  5. If using optional fillings, add them on top of the cheese.
  6. Place the second tortilla on top, buttered side up.
  7. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Carefully flip the burrito and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes more.
  9. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use a mix of cheeses for extra flavor and experiment with different fillings to find your favorite combination.
