A fun and easy recipe that transforms a few basic ingredients into delightful gelatin cubes, perfect for snacks or desserts.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water (½ cup hot, ½ cup cold)
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (1 packet if using Knox)
- 1–2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey or sweetener of choice
Instructions
- Heat ½ cup of water until steaming, not boiling.
- Sprinkle gelatin over the hot water slowly while stirring until dissolved.
- Add apple cider vinegar or lemon juice and your sweetener. Stir well.
- Pour in the cold ½ cup of water to cool the mixture.
- Transfer into a glass dish or silicone mold.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Cut into cubes and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
Ensure the gelatin is fully dissolved before adding other ingredients. Experiment with flavors by adding extracts or fruit purees.
