Ingredients

  • 2 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter over the pork chops.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Choose thick pork chops for juicier results. Let them rest for a few minutes after cooking for tenderness.
