Description
A delightful twist on a classic favorite that combines garlic bread flavors with gooey grilled cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering all the way to the edges.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down and add half the cheese on each.
- Top with the other bread slices, butter-side up.
- Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days or freeze for up to three months.
