A fun and cheesy pull-apart bread shaped like a football, perfect for game day gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 package of pizza dough
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano and basil)
- 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small squares.
- Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
- Gather the corners of the dough and pinch to seal the cheese inside.
- Shape the stuffed dough into a football shape and place on a baking sheet.
- Melt the butter and mix with minced garlic and herbs.
- Brush the garlic herb butter over the shaped bread rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For best results, use fresh garlic and herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
